What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address. We use it solely to identify your account on Maplewoodly.

You may also provide:

• A display name (shown to neighbors)
• Your address selection (to place you on the neighborhood map)
• Optional contact info (email, phone) that you choose to share with specific neighbors
• Posts and comments on the neighborhood message board
• Photos you upload

How We Use Your Data

• To display your profile and posts to your neighbors on Maplewoodly
• To send you email notifications you've opted into (e.g., digest emails)
• To send invite and contact request emails on your behalf

What We Don't Do

• We don't sell or share your data with third parties
• We don't show ads
• We don't track you across other websites

Contact Info Sharing

Your contact details (email, phone) are never shown to other neighbors unless you explicitly approve a contact info request. You can revoke access at any time from your profile.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on a single server in Eli's living room secured behind a cloudflare tunnel. Uploaded photos are stored in cloud storage (Cloudflare R2). All connections to Maplewoodly are encrypted via HTTPS.

Deleting Your Account

Contact us to request account deletion. We will remove your profile, posts, and associated data super quick.
